Bison has successfully arranged a $1 million purchase order facility for a designer and importer of beach oriented women’s apparel and swimwear. The PO facility will provide the company working capital liquidity to support its seasonal vendor and inventory needs as well as its projected strong growth in its wholesale retail channels which include national chains and catalogue companies and smaller specialty retail stores.

Bison Assists a Private Equity Sponsor in Arranging a $6MM Senior Bank Facility for a Manufacturer of Power Quality/Power Distribution Equipment & Systems
Bison assisted a private equity sponsor in successfully arranging a $6 million senior bank revolver/term loan facility for its portfolio company which is a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of non-battery based power quality, customized power distribution and grid monitoring equipment and systems for the Fortune 500 corporate market in the semiconductor, data center, health care, food processing and industrial manufacturing sectors. The senior bank facility refinanced the company’s current revolver and term loan lenders and will serve to provide additional working capital liquidity to support the company’s significant growth opportunities in its domestic and Asian export markets.

Bison Assists an Investment Banking Boutique in Arranging a $6MM Senior Bank Asset-Based Facility for an Investment Die Casting Company
Bison assisted an investment banking boutique in successfully arranging a $6 million senior asset-based bank facility for a privately-held investment die casting and forging company primarily serving the oil, gas and chemicals industries. The senior bank facility served to refinance senior bridge notes used to finance the acquisition of the company earlier in 2010 and provides additional working capital liquidity for ongoing operations.

Products Company
Bison assisted one of its collaborative business
consulting partners in successfully arranging a $3 million growth
equity investment by a middle market focused private equity
sponsor in a privately-held specialized buildings products
company that is targeting the significant and growing health care
facility replacement/upgrade market. The growth capital will
provide funding for the company to reconfigure and expand its
manufacturing operations, develop a professional direct
sales/marketing program, hire additional management personnel and
provide for general working capital to support the growth of the
business.

Bison Assists an Investment Banking
Boutique in Arranging $7MM Mezzanine Bridge Financing for a
Precision Forging Company
Bison assisted an investment banking boutique in
arranging a $7 million mezzanine bridge financing provided by a
bridge loan fund for a privately-held precision forgings company
serving the commercial and military aerospace markets. The bridge
financing served to repay a secured equipment term lender which
had been seeking to create liquidity for its term loan
position.

Bison Arranges Mezzanine Acquisition
Financing for Investor Group
Bison successfully arranged a $4.5 million
acquisition financing for a private investor group which acquired
a health care database and publishing services business unit spun
out from a publicly traded parent company. The mezzanine
financing was provided by a syndicate of three SBIC mezzanine
funds which served as the control sponsor group for the
transaction.

Bison Completes a Valuation Analysis for a
Home Accessories Company
Bison successfully completed a valuation analysis
and M&A assessment project for a CT-based designer and importer
of branded home accessory products sold to major US retailers.
The project was designed to provide the company's owner with an
assessment of the company's potential market value and various
options for how a potential sale might be optimally
structured.

Private Equity Sponsor
Bison successfully arranged a $1.8 million bridge
financing for a private equity sponsor in the process of raising
a new fund. The proceeds of the financing were used to invest
incremental capital in the sponsor’s current portfolio
companies.

Bison Arranges Acquisition Financing for
Collections/Data Storage/Back Office Outsourcing Services
Company
Bison successfully arranged a $3.2 million term
loan acquisition facility for a professional services company
with subsidiary companies in the collections, data storage
consulting and back-office outsourcing markets which is a
portfolio company of a private equity sponsor. The term loan
facility helped to fund the acquisition of an IT staffing company
which will become the parent’s fifth operating
subsidiary.
